While each child is given a $100 gift card for the shopping spree, members are encouraged to come out of their own pockets to ensure that the kids have everything they need for the upcoming school year. Kidspree provides clothing for approximately 100 children annually.
Camp Courage Bus Loading
The Arizona Children’s Burn Camp, Camp Courage, was created to address the emotional needs of children who have suffered severe burn injuries. Today, approximately 80 youth burn survivors from around the state attend the free, therapeutic camp annually. Partnering with the Arizona Burn Foundation, Scottsdale 20/30 Club helps send the children off to camp by loading their belongings onto the buses.
Scottsdale 20/30 Club holds an annual gifting meeting as culmination of its fiscal fundraising events. This meeting presents the club’s charity partners with grants and allows the organizations to speak about their mission and how they will use the grant money. In addition to charity partners, major donors are invited to attend the gifting meeting as a thank you for their contributions to Scottsdale 20/30 Club. In 2017, Scottsdale 20/30 Club awarded over twenty organizations with nearly $500K in grant awards.
