Jason Heetland is a 29-year-old farmer who has found personal satisfaction and plenty of hard work romancing the "Cadillac of dates" known as the Medjool. Originally brought to the Southwest from Morocco in the late 1800's, Medjools are plumper, meatier and sweeter than other dates. They have a devoted following.
